Haojiang Drilling Service Co., Ltd (referred to as HJD BITS) formerly known as Shanghai First Petroleum Machinery Factory, was established in 1956 and was the first enterprise in China to produce tricone bits. In 1993, it jointly established Baosheng Drilling Machinery Co., Ltd. with Hongkong Baoli International Group Corp. Limited. In 1999, Baosheng Drilling Machinery Co., Ltd. was acquired by Kingdream Public Limited Company a leading domestic manufacturer of tricone bits.
